A baleful force makes people do horrific and awful things.
Baleful is the first full feature length film from Deformed Lunchbox. It is a psychologic horror film. It is also a Canadian film.
Directors statement
A small team of us put a lot of work into this project on a shoe-string micro-budget. We think we've made a film that is fun to watch, creates a reaction, and invites a conversation. We really love horror and feel there is a lot to explore with the genre. We aim to represent, encourage, and add to the Canadian horror scene.
Margie (short film screens b4 Baleful)
On a dark, rainy night, a young man gets lost driving to a party and encounters a strange, drenched girl named Margie on a remote road. After offering her a ride, he’s led to a decaying house where he discovers disturbing signs of her tragic past.
